It is injected into targeted areas of the face, usually between the eyebrows and at the corners of the eyes, to relax the muscles and reduce wrinkles. BOTOX® Cosmetic differs from other injectable treatments because rather than adding volume beneath the skin, it works by relaxing the muscles that cause these types of facial lines. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a minimally invasive treatment that yields optimal results with no downtime.

 

Your BOTOX® Cosmetic appointment will consist of a relatively simple procedure. Dr. Tompach will help you determine where the solution should be administered to help you reach your cosmetic goals. He will ask you to contract your facial muscles to ascertain the optimal placement of the injection. The application of BOTOX® Cosmetic takes just minutes per injection. After your appointment, you will be able to return to your normal daily activities. 

 

The Cost

 

The cost of your BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment will depend upon how many injections are required for your procedure. In general, injectable treatments are a much more cost effective procedure than more extensive treatment, like cosmetic surgery.  We charge $12.00 per unit; frown line treatment averages 20 units (under $250), and “crow’s feet” periorbital lines 24 units (12 units per side) for a total of under $290.
